Hi , friends! It’s Carter here - your new photographer homie.
Before I ask you your story I thought I’d share a little of mine.
Most days you can find me slanging a coffee while hanging with my two kids: Kinsley (3 years old) and Boomer (1 year old). My wife, Alison, will be watching while I do something to make a fool of myself for a giggle from the little ones. I currently work as a landscaper and enjoy creating beautiful pieces of art for customers’ backyards.
I met Alison in the 10th grade and we got married in 2018. Through the 10 years of knowing each other our favourite things have been walking our dog Bruno, having pizza parties, going for ice cream, taking road trips, and finding the best deal at the thrift store.
I’ve always had a love for photography but before I shot weddings, families, or couples I found my beginning in taking very detailed pictures of the over 300 pairs of shoes I’ve owned! This resulted in countless photos and getting more and more creative each time. When I started thinking about taking photos of people, I borrowed a REAL camera from a friend and loved every second of that first shoot. This propelled me towards the amazing privilege of photographing you and your memories.
There is something so special and humbling about you trusting me with one of the biggest days of your lives.
I strive to capture the day exactly as it happens making sure all the moments feel honest and beautiful.
